Duck, Duck, Goose

Get ready

1. Have the kids sit in a circle on the floor.

How to play

1. One child walks around the outside of the circle, tapping each child on the head and saying “Duck” with each tap.
2. When they tap the child they choose, they say “Goose!”
3. The Goose jumps up and chases the tapper around the circle.
4. The tapper tries to get back to the Goose's empty spot before being tagged.
5. The Goose becomes the tapper for the next round.

Tips & variations

• Make sure everyone gets a turn. Kids who have already been picked can sit cross-legged so the tapper knows who's left.
